THE ALARMING NEWS APRIL 2013

OPPORTUNITY VILLAGE MAGICAL FOREST

We would like to thank Opportunity Village for allowing us to be a part of the Magical Forest and Great Santa Run this past holiday season.  If you were fortunate enough to attend either of those events you might have noticed some of our uniformed Security Officers on duty there this year.  We were happy to donate the time and efforts of our Security Officers to help ensure that everyone had a safe and pleasant experience.  The Magical Forest and Great Santa Run are just two examples of how Opportunity Village benefits our community every year.  It was a pleasure and our privilege to be associated with both events and such a great organization.

ISC 2013

The International Security Conference returned for their annual convention at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas last week.  During the week of the convention it is pretty common for us to get requests to tour our facility.  This year we hosted a tour for a delegation of security professionals from Sao Paulo, Brazil.  It was certainly our pleasure to have them here and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time exchanging ideas and information with the group.

WELCOME BACK CLARK

In the last edition of the Alarming News we reported that two of our most accomplished technicians had retired.  Clark Miller was one of the two, however he realized pretty quickly that he was not ready to hang up his tools  just yet.  We are glad to welcome him back.

GOOD LUCK RON WE WILL MISS YOU

Shortly after Clark returned we found out that another one of our more experienced technicians was retiring after having worked here for more than 20 years.  Ron Ferris held a variety of positions in our installation department.  Most recently Ron split time in our warehouse and also worked out in the field as one of our installation foremen.  His considerable technical aptitude and experience will be greatly missed.

NEW ADDITIONS TO OUR MANAGEMENT STAFF

We would like to welcome two new members to our management staff.

Tamra Johnson (Field Operations Manager) and Amy Palmer (Controller) recently joined the Alarmco team.  We are very pleased to have both of them on-board.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES ADDED TO OUR INTERACTIVE WEBSITE

We are happy to announce that we have added additional functionality to our website (www.alarmco.com) which will allow individuals seeking employment to complete applications for employment and attach their resumes to them.  All information submitted through our website is confidential and encrypted.  We will still continue to accept applications and resumes at our office as usual.  Alarmco is an equal opportunity employer.
